I'm assuming mine arrived at the VPC on 8/7 as well - but yeah, that was quick! The dealer is just waiting for the paperwork from BMW, which can take several days, but if all goes well I could be picking up my shiny new Orient Blue/Black 545i SMG Thursday evening

Use your car's VIN as the cargo ID. The search result will show you which vessel your car was on and its sailing history! You can copy your VIN from OC. Thanks man!

Just tried it with my car's VIN, got the error "No tracking information is available for the Cargo ID you entered" - dunno what's up with that.
Hope your car shows up at the dealer tomorrow!!

Looks like I made a mistake in entering my VIN; just tried it and got the following info - Vessel is Undine, car was discharged in NY on August 1, so I guess it was at the VPC for a couple of days and got on the truck yesterday. Is yours the same vessel?

Alright, that makes sense now. My car was on vessel Tancred which arrived at the port on 08/07. So the VPC is not that fast. Based on your time frame, it seems I won't be able to take the delivery until sometime next week. The wait is really killing me. Heck, the light is right in front of me... ...

Yeah, your car will probably get to your dealer this Friday at the earliest, and more likely early next week. I feel your pain about the wait - it's only been a few weeks for me, and man it's been tough!!
My car is prepped and ready at the dealer, they're just waiting for the "paperwork" to arrive from BMW - how frikkin' long can BMW wait to get the appropriate papers to the dealer?? Wish they'd just send them along with the car...

Huh? What paperwork do you need from BMW??? I thought the dealer would do all the paperwork (registration, insurance etc.)
How long did your car stay in VPC according to OC? Mine is in VPC already.

Needed something called the "CO" from BMW, that's the paperwork the dealer mentioned - it came in today, but service is still working on programming my car, had some issues I guess. The plan is for me to pick up the car tomorrow (barring any further issues with getting the car ready) - dang, sure hope it works out!!
