Actually the ship has to go to San Diego first. It made it to harbor last night around 10:30pm. Suppose to head out around 17:00 today then heading to Port Hueneme.
Wnfield i myself need to get my car from Salem Oregon that's where my car will be going in, I'm now in Los Angeles and would have taken my car here but my SA forgot or neglected to tell me i could do that.

Sorry your SA messed that up. I was just pointing out that the ship has to stop in San Diego before heading to Port Hueneme to drop off at the BMW VPC. Then processed through the VPC and transported by truck to Oregon. What a pain you cannot get it transported to a dealer in LA area. Bet that adds another week on your delivery.
You should fly up to Oregon to take delivery. That would be a great road trip back to LA. Why pay to transport it. Should only take about 10-12 hours drive or less if you really hit it on the I5 corridor.

. Anyhow that is what i have to do to get it and that's what i will do. Prices for transport back to the L.A. area are ridiculous at 700-800 bucks. I can catch a flight to oregon for 146 take the HU to a nearby spot and a taxi for a couple miles to the dealer. Anyhow it is, what it is.Thanks for your info

The Centaurus Leader has left San Diego Harbor. It is now on its way to Port Hueneme!
My guess is the VPC is closed tomorrow for Memorial day so they will off load the cars Tuesday.
