What a beautiful car - I'm sure you will enjoy driving it very much.? I picked up my 2006 530i about 3 weeks ago and I absolutely love it.?

By the way, I tried to get the aux input installed and the service advisor told me that BMW had made a modification for the 2006 model year and that it was not yet available for installation.? Did you have yours installed at your dealer?? I wonder if they mistakenly installed the 2004/2005 version and that is why it won't work correctly in your 2006...

Cheers, Jon.

Yes, the dealer installed it. Maybe there is a mod that my dealership didn't know about, but I thought there were other '06s that had it with no problems (People chime in if I'm in error in my thinking). I just took the car back and told them to let me know when they have a fix from engineering/BMWNA. I will pass this onto my Service Advisor and see what he says.

Great car, Aaron. Relax. Forget the shoe prints and keep on enjoying both the car and the daughter -- wife, too, but the daughter will be up and gone and her childhood and the alpine bimmer will be just memories.

Anyone with a daughter knows how that Father/Daughter relationship is, even at her young age. Nothing/noone comes before her, especially the car. The car is nice! My daughter is exceptional...she's my heart, no question.

And she clearly has great taste in cars, picking out her Z4 already! The real question is will Daddy be able to say NO when she's 16 and bats those big brown eyes at him and says "can I have my own BMW, pleaseee!!"

Congrats on the car Aaron and family

I'm always jealous of someone picking up their new E60. I wish I could do it again and again. The experience is wonderful.

you let your 7 years old son go to party alone and your 18 months old daughter pick her own z4 ? what a dad ! j/k . i know how you feel about kids. you are one good man ! i don't have kids yet but i love kids. my mom used to help my uncle to babysit his son and i treated him like my own son . he is almost 12 years old now but i still love him so much .

Merv, you're right, its a great feeling. I see how people can get addicted to getting a new car every few years, but this baby has to last the long haul, unless I hit for Oprah money.

alohalc, on main reason I like kids so much is because of their honesty. Except when they want something, there is little to no BS in kids. Even before I had kids of my own, I was always good with kids. In a good way too, not that Michael Jackson sort of way.
