I will keep you posted on the progress. It will be interesting to see how much earlier I get mine, than you do, if at all. South Carolina to Texas is a long way, although, I wonder how they sail to California from Germany? Across the Pacific, or through the Panama Canal in the Atlantic?
I guess we will see.

From what I have heard, it takes an extra couple days to have the M Aero Kit installed at the VPC, but should definitely be under a week...I would imagine it depends on their workload. How much are they charging you for the kit and its installation?

Yah, I am not sure how my dealer knows of the date when the car is loaded but on Monday, he emailed me and mentioned Thursday is the day. He then said APPROXIMATELY 27 days until Port Hueneme arrival.
My dealer went thru an outside source for the Style 166 wheels. He is not able to order them thru BMW. There were only 3 sets available. The wheel guy(he is basically a tire and rim shop) has ordered the wheels and he is having them chromed. He is mounting the tires and then shipping them to my dealer. I will pick the car up ready to roll with the M wheels and Aero Kit.
If you are interested in the wheels I can try to put you in touch with my dealer. I have also sold my stock wheel to a forum member in PA for $1800..
I am going nuts too>Hope to have the car by November 22!

Do you mean that your car is being loaded THIS Thursday.... 10/13 (today)? You had mentioned 10/26/05... which is not a Thursday. Just wondering, as my car is finished on 10/17... wondering how long it will take to be loaded on the boat.

My production started 9/23/05 and completion was estimated (on that day) for 10/05/05. I then found out on 10/10/05 that it was scheduled to board the ship for 10/13/2005.
Basically, the time frames are this:
Enter production: 9/23/05
Complete production: 10/05/05
Board Ship: 10/10/05
Port Arrival -WestCoast: 11/09/05
Port Departure(estimated): 11/15/05
Dealership Arrival (estimated): 11/17/05
I hope these timelines are correct...I can't wait to hear that 550 V8's throaty sound!!

I just got word from my dealer that my car finished production today (a day early). You should check to see if yours also made it out of production today.... since our cars were so close together. Good luck! I am getting anxious for this car already!

I'm not sure if that is an accurate statement though. This would mean there are 90K+ cars between ours and LYLEALZADO's and MEHALL2.
What am I missing?
