Maybe I should clear this up.
The 545i was ordered with logo deletion. However I asked my dealer if I could have the badge anyway in case I changed my mind in the future. It was no problem and of course I was not charged!!

Andy, I saved mine, too. The difference is that mine are not neatly arranged on a piece of tape with OEM spacing. I will have to work at getting them on right when title passes.

It also took 10 days to get my car prepped up and ready for delivery. It also has to do with the number of cars sold and the size of the dealer. I bought my car from a relitavely small dealership and in the summer a lot of people where on vacation so it took them 11 days to get it done.. Anyway, I'm happy your car is here andreas and hope to see it soon in person..

JDN, it may be easier to just buy a stock badge from the dealer so everything is aligned for you.? I doubt the cost of the part is very high and you'll have a nice souvenir of your baby to boot!?

Hmm.... I ordered a few packages from BMW (about buying one, info about the 5...etc).
One of the packages talked about Test Driving. It said it is recommended that you take a test drive for at least half an hour, and on different terrains...etc.
Now if everone followed that then wouldn't ALL the cars on the dealer lot have miles/km's racked up? Or do dealers only allow for test drives on *CERTAIN* cars (I'm assuming there wuold have to be several, 525 530 545... active steering or not (sport package)).

I was unhappy with 7 miles on the clock, so 60km is just too much.
They could have been giving test drives in your car for all you know.
