Andy, great car. Mine has no raised storage in the boot/trunk like yours. Some models here have it, but mine is a sports model.
I got the rubber mat for the storage area in there and also the net that holds things in place. It is really a nice finish for the trunk/boot. You might want to check it out from the accessories catalog. I think I someone just post it here too.
Also, congratulations on your nice travels to the USA. Glad someone from E60 web site gave you some nice hospitality!!!!!
Enjoy that ride!

In Europe, it's common to order the "debadge" option. In the US, you can't order it that way.
I'm guessing that if you order the debadge option, you get the badge in the glovebox in case you decide to badge it later...

Looks really sharp Andy.? Best wishes and happy motoring!
Just curious, why do you have to wait two more weeks to get it in your hands?

[/quote]Amigo525, we have an option here in Europe that gives us the possibility to debadge from the beginning ( logo deletion ) as the other members mentioned.
It it is my second BMW out of the 3 that I debadge...it looks pretty nice I think.
It's personal I guess. There was a guy at the dealer who was getting his 530i delivered and my car was next to his...we started a conversation and at some point he asked me : what engine you got, 3.0i ? The guy wasn't expecting the big one...hehehehe he replied > " it's a beast!!!"
And he is sooooo right!!!

Great car! Great pictures! Some of the sharpest pictures I have seen posted. What camera and megapixels? How did you put on the web?
Thanks

Olympus c-730 10x optical 3.2m
nothing special, just good lens.
Camera loves good lighting. Give ot that and the pics are beautiful!
Resize with Irfan view or any photo program...I resized to 800x600. It's big enough for the forum plus the average size is around 80kb, so you can fit many pics in one posting!! ( Thanks Admin....! )
I used on my trip to the US. I tell you the 10x optical comes in really useful for
closeups of distant scenery/objects.
Latest model C-765 same thing but 4m and smaller!!
