tekor, that is a great price. I've only been able to get our two local dealers down about $600 off MSRP for a 545, and it's irritating as hell. I'll wait it out. Enjoy your new purchase.

I don't know if I can help anyone or not, but here in NJ (~25 mi. west of Manhattan), my dealer can did better than what I'm seeing in this thread. I ordered on 2/17 and don't know if pricing strategies have changed since then. I can't guarantee anything, but my mom always taught me it can't hurt to ask!

Sam-
You had a 2/17 order date and a 4/13 production date?? What is your expectation for taking delivery of the vehicle? I have a 3/26 order date and was told to expect the car in Late May early June. Does that sound about right? I still don't have a production date...
thanks
Mark

This will be a great car! Have you checked out Premium Sound? I didn't listen to the radio and CD's that much before, but this system is so nice, we have it on most of the time.

My sport seats have been comfortable for my wife and I. I probably should have ordered the comfort seats because it would have added only about $15/mo. to my payment.

drinkh2o: I don't think my dealer was truthful with me re: how long it would take to get a build allocation. 4/13 was production start, they had a 4/23 production complete. Then I don't know...2 weeks to get on a boat, 2 weeks to get here to the VPC, then 2-5 days get here and prep'ed. So if I'm lucky, I'll have her before the end of may, but who knows. It's supposed to be 8-9 weeks from order to delivery, which matches with what you were told, but it took mine a long to to get allocated.

I just checked Owners Circle and it says Scheduled for Production which I assume is different from actual having a production date??
