Moved from 330Ci to a 535d MSport in May this year.
Still stunned by the performance and economy combo.
I was thinking of waiting for a 335 petrol, but decided however long I waited, another six months would see another model release and I'd wished I waited again !
Live for today, get your beemer today !

That's not to say it will be so voted again, but don't even THINK of the fuel type when considering this engine, just go on the driving experience.

Your car looks absolutely perfect but since my car is just one year old I don't need to rush. I just want some more power

fun: 02 audi tt roadster delphingrey/baseball 225hp/310nm s-line

perfectly honest the combination of endless torque, enough power and elasticity that the 535d provides just covinced me after the 1st testride. i'm no big diesel fan so far, but i compared 545i and audi 4.2, they were not even close how relaxed the 535d is driving.
after a while i remapped the car now it has 334hp and (limited) 600nm, there are very very few faster cars on the highway, at least there's no one consuming so little fuel for the power delivered.
i do not have calculator with me, i only have the consumption in litres per kilometer, that is 8.2l/100km
there are very few cars left i would prefer over the 535d as i did not choose it from a cost perspective at all. it's just fun riding it every single day.

I'm not really that convinced getting the pro nav. Today I have a garmin and it works perfect and it's much cheaper. One thing that's much better with the external systems are that you can save all the speedcameras on it.
