745 is the mac daddy mobile, but my lord. do a google search on "745 recalls" and see what turns up. it quadruples the complaints on this board. you'd have that thing in the shop every week. or more.

If you *really* want a 745 you must consider getting a MY2004 or greater. The two previous model years may give you problems, extended warranty or not.

welcome PGODFAT
i would stay with the E60, the MY02 has many known issues and you dont want to get a big problem, plus they are refreshing the design and engines this spring so why get what will be an older looking car?

Welcome aboard, PGODFAT !
IMHO, if you want a sportier feel, stay with the 7.
I wouldn't trade a 5 for a 7.

welcome aboard, pgodfat ! i agreed with all the posts above. i'd definitely stay with the 5. i guess most of the e60 buyers are more into the whole package than just luxurious. i personally think m.benz's interior looks better than and has more luxury features than our 5. but why did i get the 5? once again, driver's car and passenger's car. i think 5 is a better driver's car than the 7. so if i have my own chauffeur, i'd take a 7 or even a m.benz. but i don't and i'm not envy the ones who have chauffeur if they own a e60. they should fire the chauffeur and drive the babe themselves .
