Hello fellow enthusiasts,

I strolled in to my local BMW dealer and found a silver 07 550i with sport, logic stereo, cold weather, ski package (fold down seats) and some other stuff for a total of 65K! I push and shoved for a couple hours till they nocked a full 4k off and gave me the buy rate 00.175. With all said and done The payment is 790 plus tax with only 985.00 out of pocket for 24 months with 10k per year.. Don't know why but for some reason I think I could do better...can I?? Also should I do MSD (multiply security deposit) and drop the MF to .00126 or some cap cost reduction??

Normally this would be a good deal but the 08 is out and it is still a heavy payment more or less

BTW, these girls are receptionist at the Dealer, enjoy!

Hold out for your M5. My friend just told me a dealer, Nick Alexander in Socal, just let a 2006 M5 go for $13K off MSRP. It was still brand new. I've seen your posts, you want the M5. Don't second guess "what if." Get the M5.

You can also buy the M5 used. Several companies will allow you to lease used cars, one bing leasecompare.com or go to a credit union. The next wave of M5 owners are coming on after letting the first owners take the initial depreciation. M5s that were bought in excess of $90K new are being sold for between $70 - $80K depending on the mileage. Great example is EuroCarFan. He just took delivery of a 2006 M5 fully-loaded for low $70K's.

I was able to chisel away about $3100 off of MSRP back in November with anticipation of getting a MY08 and to lock in the negotiated price and not pay MSRP. The money factor is pretty good. I could not wiggle out of the .0025 MF, but back in November, I was given a money factor of .0019 which was pretty good back then. Shop around because you can go to antother dealer and get a better deal. Ask the CA at the other dealer to do an inventory search and locate that car at your local dealership (knowing that it is there in the back of your mind). This was the same trick I used to get my father his MY04 745i at his local dealer. They gave him a deal right off the bat. Leftover MY04, getting ready for the MY05s.

If M5 you want, M5 you should get.

I wouldn't bite at any offer. My next car is one of four: M5, CLS55/63, E55/63, or 535i. Why the 535i? The potential of the bi-turbos. With a simple PROcede software and custom exhaust it's already putting the LCI 550i in it's rearview mirror. More than likely though I'll be in a M or AMG.

They're mad! Are you sure about that? That's one hell of a deal. My next car is a Silver Gray M5 manual.

I seriously doubt they go to work dressed like that, looks like a picture off of myspace or something.

I would run with that deal; basically $61,000 for a MY2007 550? Mine was 70 so this sounds like a great deal.

I did not take the pic man! The one in the green sent it to me on myspace! You know what they say, from myspace to your place

myspace is the latest "ice breaker" these days, hey may be some one should start a myspace forum

Now back to bussiness, do I get the damn thing or not??
