O.K....Final offer, I'm going to BMW dealer today and will offer to get a 08 550i for the same or similar discount at the reduced MF of 0.0180.(sales manager mentioned that there is some at the port) If they agree I'll get the 08, if not then I'll get the 07 with 900.00 down @ 780.00pm for 24Months, drive it till 08's cool off and then go back to the drawing board! Swapalease is a big factor in this plan, my loses would be the 900.00 down. Lets say it has been six months, then the ad on swapalease would say 18 months left on a 07 with about 5k miles, I can request cash from the buyer or even better have them pay the assumption fee's. I figure to get to my payment scenario, you would need about 6k out of pocket at a standard MF of 0.0250. The car is 65K MS RP, which is very well equipped, I have seen cars with less equipment for well over 1000.00 per month on swapalease web site. Plus, the truth is I'm driving a rental because I sold all my cars (did not thing they would sell so fast). I need a car asap so, here goes.

This is NOT true, I was at Braman BMW & Pines BMW both told me NO and both showed me same program sheet from BMWFS, The program showed 528i and xi and 535i and xi aldo 750i and 750li, which is where the mistake originated. I even had Bramn BMW call there BMWFS Rep! Confirmed that the 08 550i is EXCLUDED! I wind up getting the 07 550i, the 08 550i was about 260.00 more per month!

It is TRUE. I posted this pdf file over on bimmerfest. Might as well post it here. Open it and see for yourself. Why don't you download and print it and show it to the dealer?

You're a funny guy, miami. Glad to have helped. A little disappointed you weren't going for the M5, but seeing how you go through cars I bet you'll end up in a M5 eventually.

Might take you up on the Miami offer. My g/f and I will be visiting there probably sometime this summer. We could use a guide unlike the first time we went. We winged it.

If you can really get an 07 550i for $7k off I'd say jump on it...... There's not much difference between the 07 and 08 except for exterior and interior changes. And if you like the new e-shifter blah blah blah, but I like the 07s much more.........

Difference between invoice and MSRP is $4500. So if they're discounting $7k then something is up, they're losing money on a new 550i, which is rare because the car is sorta limited production and somewhat a hard to get car.

We are misunderstanding each other... the discount was 4K not 7K & hell ya I would jump on it side ways if that were the case!
