So what's the vicious rumour that the 550i will have exhausts (twin/dual) on both sides?

i think this should clear up the confusion, its dual pipes, but on one side...

...that is strange too, as it was explained by the head of M that this was one of the reasons the M5 was originally delayed

... to me, theres alot of confusion around everything for the E60 in Sept, its quite annoying that there may be options available later in the fall than to start, especially the info on the potential changes in the transmission offerings,... i will be really disappointed if I cant get SMG

I dont know about anyone else out there, but BMW is starting to really annoy me with this limited roll out of options and of course, BMW NA :bashwall: inparticular is the last to announce any new options/packages/engines, they should take lessons from the UK BMW, they put everything out there so that us potential owners can make the best, most informed decisions

Pretty reasonable. Base price up 3%--basically no increase on options.

I guess 3% is reasonable. If you were to ditch an option, what would you give up? Seems as though I could dump the AS since its separate from the sports package.

Also, how much would BMW charge for a custom color? I really love artic metallic on the new 3.

I wish they have it on E60, too, but no luck.

Boy, fully loaded $70K. Wow. I'd better lease it.

According to earlier posts, SMG will no longer be offered in the US on the non M E60.

Is it an option to have a custom color selected ... for a fee?

......."Tire Pressure Monitor Phase in 3/06"...............I like that better than the FTM. The Flat Tire Monitor is no use when the tires go down in pressure by equal amounts.
