From Owner's Circle: 2005 models add more "value"

The interior of all models has been enhanced with more extensive wood trim on the center console.
Poplar Grain wood trim is now standard on the 525i and 530i, as well as the 545i.
Anthracite Maple wood trim is available as a no cost option.
Front lumbar supports are now standard on the 530i and 545i.
Active Steering is a new stand-alone option on all models (it is still part of the Sport Packages).
Park Distance Control is now standard on the 545i.
The 545i now comes standard with the six-speed manual transmission. The six-speed STEPTRONIC automatic is now a no-cost option.
The Sequential Manual Gearbox is available for 530i and 545i. SMG requires the Sport Package.

Mine is a 530d and here in Portugal the lumbar regulation and the PDC are factory equipment (and the advanced AC, the auto rear shade,).

Well currently you can get a Titanium finish if you do not order the Premium pkg, are you saying that now in '05 that Titanium finish is gone? and only wood is standard?

Peace

Titanium finish looks like it is history. Shame, I actually like that look the best

DON'T hold your breath on the M5 wannabe package for the next 2~3 yrs for U.S. Market. BMW USA is not that dumb. They will wait for the e60 model to taper off (i.e. The last production year) and THEN offer the package to give it a sales boost.

If you want that appearance, look for a trustworthy bodyshop to paint the parts for you and just oreder the parts from Cravier BMW Parts. That is your only chance.

Just what I know about BMWNorth America.

cheers,

This is getting to look like a hangout from the Bimmerfest ED forum!

Beewang, not on the list, but you said elsewhere, Bluetooth is standard?

No... Not at all...

But I do know that the boys at Cravier Parts are on the ball and they have a great internet pricing. You should call then and ask them to do research on the parts number.

I do reacll that the E39 M5 body kits were available as parts long before the E39 M5 reached U.S.

cheers,
