Get them.? Much, much better steering response.? The ride with non-runflats on the 19's is better than runflats on the 18's.

I suppose we're just waiting for them to install the road noise package and they ready for sale.

I agree the 172's certainly don't look like one of their better wheels, but then we have only seen 2 pics. They may look really good in the metal!
I have the option of cancelling and taking a refund so at this point in time I'm just going to wait and see. I do like the 135's but think the 245 rear tyres are just too narrow IMHO and look lost under the sport packs beautiful rear bumper. You've got the E61 to blame for that (can only take 245's at the back) and BMW's penny pinching to boot

Merv ... so the M Sport 18s they stuck on only have 245 rears? how bizarre.
Why'd they do that when the 124s are 275?
I certainly wouldn't have 245 rears on my 545i.

[/quote]Jay,
Well it could be that BMW want to upgrade in the future or get the customer to upgrade when ordering. I think the main reason is down to the fact that the widest tyre that can be fitted on an E61 is 245 and production wise its easier to have one size that fits all.
The 245's don't look too bad its just that when you've had the 275's they look a tad skinny.
Since I found E60.net I don't do any work

So If I decide to change to the 19"s, and my car is due to be delivered any day, what do we reckon the cost will be ?
