Talking

So this is it (a fantastic car on order but economically straining)

E61
530D 6sp
Jet Black/Amethyst leather
type 138 17" runflats
cold weather package
(also servotronic and rear autolevel suspension is standard on E61 here)

Options ordered:
Package (rails, bi-xenon, alarm, cruise control, cupholders)
Comfort seats
Rear seat heating
Rear side airbags
Aluminium trim (wave cut)
Advanced Climate Control
Navigation Pro
Active steering
Extended interior/exterior lighting
Trailer hook
Extra tinting on top of windshield
Panoramic sunroof
Winter tyres (type 134 16" including emergency spare)
Rear manual window shades

Things I also wanted but could not afford:
PDC
type 124 runflat 18" wheels
Logic 7
Adaptive xenons
HUD
Heated steering wheel
Professional phone
Autoadjusting mirror
Ventilated seats

comments welcome
last chance to rethink coming up in 10 days I think

also wonder what?s the difference between the smoking and non-smoking package (no cost difference) as dealer recommended the smoking package even for non-smokers as he thought there was some benefit??

The smoking package has a little ashtray and a cigarette lighter. If not, I believe you just get a littel cubby whole instead. My car comes with it whether I like it or not. Germans love smoking so they all get it.

Just a thought, I ordered my E60 with Titanium II trim, but it came with Aluminium wave cut.

Doesn't look right in my book, since the auto stick, interior door handles and steering wheel trims are still in Titanium II, and this clashes badly with the Aluminium wave cut trim. My sales rep is ordering a set of titanium II trim to replace the Al trim.

I get a lot more use from the heated wheel than I do from the extended lights package, it's probably one of my favourite toys on the car now
