Default Just testing the waters out there!

Anyone interested in a nearly MINT CONDITION, showroom quality 2004 Dinan-tuned, fully loaded 545 Sports Sedan, featuring only 11,300 miles?? Yes, you read CORRECTLY. The ride looks like it just left the dealer's showroom, much less pushing 10 years old soon!!

Yes, it has less than 12,000 miles on her! Always garaged, very well maintained, with all service up-to-date and current.

This ride also features and is equipped with (see signature below) a very comprehensive list of nearly every Dinan Motorsport mod and upgrade available. Again, just testing the waters here, as I'm still debating whether to unload or not.

As you might guess already, I don't it drive her much (because I live in San Francisco), as we currently use another ride as our daily commuter. The Dinan 5er has been tooled around primarily on sunny weekends only (never rain!) and has been pampered, garaged and well cared for.

The ride continues to turn heads everywhere, in spite of it's understated, below the radar appearance, since I intentionally opted out of those M-Body kits, side skirts, and other body appearance enhancements. Fully loaded and optioned out new at BMW of San Francisco, including over $25K in Dinan modifcations, this ride is well north of $100K when everything is all added up. Yes, quite an overall package for sure!

Have absolutely NO IDEA where to even begin pricing this impeccable package. But I'm thinking in the $35K-$45K range, given it's overall condition and equipment, is fairly reasonable. Do you agree? Feedback and input greatly appreciated. Again, just testing the waters. Thank YOU forum members!

Why bother with all that Dinan when you could've just got an m5 and thrown suspension on it and called it a day >.>

35+ seems a bit even with the mileage.

hey there! thanks for the note and great observation and question.

the 'new' generation M5 didn't come out for at least another year when I picked up the fully loaded stock 545. Along the same lines, I wasn't interested in getting a full blown M5 -even when it finally became available. Also, I later learned that the new M5, while very nice, was nonetheless still too edgy to drive on a day-to-day basis and not nearly as refined as it could have been. More reason (at the time) not to make the move over.

So, at the time (back in 2005 now) thought it was pretty cool and safe to just go with the proven Dinan upgrade route. and man, was it ever! To this very day, the overall ride, performance and handling characteristics is quite sublime and sweet indeed, yet remarkably civil, understated and below the radar - just the way I prefer it.

Again, we're talking years ago now when I was very young and naïve! Ha ha. Anyway, I'm eyeing the upcoming i8 or Tesla S as our next ride. So, we'll see! ALL THE BEST NOW!
