You car is awesome but the SMG still scares me (i want to keep this car until they make me buy and electric car ) if it was a 6MT i would be willing to go up but the only way i would get an SMG is if i got it CHEAP!
If you really want it gone this month you should put it on ebay. I have been watching them sell for about 34k-38k for the 06's.

I'll take 30 for the car.
How do you want to handle the balance?

Really clean car, its in great shape . However, IMO $39K is bit high for an M without the active and ventilated seats, which I think are pretty desirable options. My friend in Houston picked up his 2006 with around 50K miles, loaded (with all the seat options and ipod too) for around $34k. I know it has another year of wear and tear and that warrants a lower price, but that is the give and take I suppose. Good luck with sale!

The only thing I'd point out is I'd rather have a car with 10,000 - 15,000 fewer miles than one with active seats. It's funny how we convince ourselves how valued an option is, only to realize (using the seats as an example) that the benefit isn't really a justification for the desire.
I've still got the car and I can take 37,500 for it as it sits. I'm trying to be up front about my pricing and fair, so while I appreciate offers of $34, $35, and $36,000 dollars, I can't sell the car at those prices.
Still waiting for a new owner,
Alan
