Not a fan of the old cats, but the new ones are definitely different.

I really like the new one.. the 2010's really bumped the HP up. Too bad the 2009 4.2L supercharged has 50HP less than the 2010 supercharged (a used 2009 is much closer to my price range than a brand new one). The R is reallly hot too!

This car has been on my radar since last year but I just can't get over the stigma of owning a Jag.

No kidding on the stigma...I have been sitting here with the order form for three days now, and I hope, just once, that I could see a nice couple of shots of the F-10 to make the choice easier. But I tell you Zen, only us old people remember that Jags used to be hanger queens. The Jd power reliability on the car is superb, as is the all important residuals for lease..My wife even shakes her head and says "I can't believe you would trade the BMW for a Jag..." Of course, this is from a woman who just can't see ever needing more horsepower than a prius...

Stu,

Go for it. Like you said, Jaguar's reliability has improved recently so may be it's time to try something new. I've seen a new XF (5.0 litter) at the airport and it looks gorgeous.

Wow, Jaguar needs to take a few steps out of BMW finance book....Both Jags are 120 days out to order. Even though the residuals are good, no where near what BMW's are.....XF supercharged is 1200 a month XFR knos on the door at 1800, this is with 5k down and 36 months at 10,000 miles. Money rate is 3.4%, which sounds really high compared to the BMW...however, the bottom line, like MB they charge you a grand to order...wow...Not even Porsche does that..
