+1 on Ric's observation there, which also explains how a (pre-LCI) 530d sits at 130mph on the autobahn while turning at a shade over 3,000rpm Gotta love it!

so you decided not to show the pics of you doing 150mph

I agree though, its great being able to cruise at high speeds and low revs. Its one of the main reasons I switched from petrol to diesel when I was still driving 4 cyl cars -- I used have a head-ache after driving the petrol cars down the autobahn at 5000+ rpm

The F10 523dA will be a hot car and after the M-B E test drive, maybe my next one.

Do to the competition with M-B, BMW must upgrade the 2.0 l TT diesel engine
to some 210 hp and a minimum of 450 Nm of torgue for the F10.
A nice autotrans would do the rest.

But the M-B engine is a 2,143 liter one - BMW's only 2,0 l.

sound like it just other MB
but you have to test drive the F10 when it comes out and then compare it again

Its an awesome idea, Id totally particapate if I wasnt lazy.

Who does a 5 spd auto anymore? And you're right those gauges are TINY, how can you drive like that?
