The e60 and G-35 are apples and oranges. The G is only close in regards to size. These cars have different roles and customers. The G is truly a smart purchase. You don't have to worry about seeing one on every corner. I had two G's (three counting my wife's) I had a coupe and sedan. Neither one got great gas mileage but they always put a smile on my face.

I ordered a 535i through the military in Germany. I'm happy with the purchase but if I had a Infiniti dealership to ship, it would be a tough decision. The 535 has sport, premium, cold weather, iPod, sport automatic and natural brown interior. My only other consideration was the S-Line A-6.

I sold the Gs for a Cadillac STS (Biggest misktake ever!!) Cadillac will never get another penny of my money. The G is a good value (performance, insurance, service and quality) Everyone knows about the resilience of the VQ engine.

The G35 sedan is fugly, now the coupe on the other hand has style. Not to mention the depreciation of the Infiniti?s, its off the charts. I would buy used to avoid depreciation or stay away.

Would that the same G35 that is an Edmunds and Intellichoce pick for its low depreciation?

The sedan depreciation and the coupe depreciation is a whole different story. People want the coupes. Plus the inside of the Infiniti's are plastic just like their cousins the nissans.

No, it isn't. The sedan and coupe were both picks on the links I posted.

Take a look at ebay, autotrader, dealers. The coupe routinely resells for more. Back when I was poorly informed, I was looking at buying a G35 coupe. The sedans are a lot cheaper used, thats a FACT. But I came to my senses and didn't want a Jap car.

Kelley pegs the G35 sedan as having a lower cost of ownership than the 328 (using something price comparable).

Thats cool man, anyways enough with the depreciation disagreement. The coupe looks a 1000% better than the sedan. I would never buy the sedan, to many other cars to buy instead.

Yep - I agree with you on that! I much prefer the coupe too.
All the best

Its a nice car, full of tech but it would have to drive really well for it to be a serious option.
