What a comments about non BMW brands, let me tell you that not a long time ago I had my e60 and totaled it due to a flat non run flat tire at 120MPH. After looking for a replacement I ended up getting left over 330i with most goodies, car is fine but I feel so cramped in there that sometimes I just want to get out of that claustrophobic cabin si I gave it to my wife. E60 is out of question for me and you know why, so I ended up getting my self 07 G35s with manual tranny standard LSD and comfort access. Let me tell you that car can move it's as quick as 335i in real world, interior is much nicer compare to the old G and it's more refined as well but still give you that raw feel that none of current 3 or 5 offer. Calling g owners pussies was very funny comment the same as you hear some idiots saying having BMW is gay
. All I can say is I dont miss my e60 a bit now infact I was getting bored with it shortly before accident happened.
For next couple of years I'll wait for upcomming 5 till then I'll enjoy my G35, and I was sceptical about that car as most on this board but not anymore.
FYI Maxima is FWD while G is RWD and most of you know it.

Check out the horrible resell value on the G before you leap. Even if you lease, you're paying a big premium for it.
What kind of lease rates are you being quoted.

The G35 is an excellent car, and those residuals are as good as you'd get on a BMW. You probably know this already but the new 3.7 engine is around the corner (debuts on the coupe I think) but either way the Infiniti is much better than some of the posters on here would have you believe (and it should of course be compared to the E90, which is of course its most obvious peer, it's not intended to compete with the E60).

As a previous 03 G35 Coupe owner and a former new car salesman in a Nissan dealership, all I can say is I will not get another Infiniti again.
Build quality and reliability are poor IMO. Engineering wise, I would say it is below average when comparing to Toyota and Honda. Also, the VQ engine tends to burn much more gas than the stats in the brochure (My M3 burn less gas than G35C).

So you're saying that you bought bmw for reliability? If yes you are in the wrong place. Materials are superior in bimmers no questions asked but build quality again I disagree, now back to infiniti let me tell you that this new generation g is way better than the car it replaced. Interior not even close and also much more refined, it's faster handles great and I constantly get hard driven 400 miles out of my 20 galon tank (dont tell me that you can get that on your m3). I'm giving you the facts, what you've posted doesnt hold watter and please dont bring toyota and honda in comparison cuz I'll prove you wrong again. You're not convincing enough.

No doubt that I am biased on BMW, cuz I've got two reliable E46 and my 07 E60 is still problem free (for now...touch wood
