If our previous Saab hadn't self combusted (see sig), probably another 9-5 Aero - it's not in the same league as BMW for quality /driving dynamics, but it's well up there in performance, individuality, and is very safe, and very well equiped and excellent value!
Other than that, it was a toss up between:
Audi A6 2.0TDI/2.7TDI
MB E220CDI/270CDI
Jag S Type 2.7 Diesel
Volvo S60/S80
Are cars really that cheap in the USA, or is there a lot of money in this forum? Lot's of AMG/500/GS's mentioned!
The BMW won it through a combination of incredible looks (much credit given to the M Sport kit), it's performance, quality, and suprisingly good value, which enabled some nice extras to be added!

My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
I wanted an M3 but needed the space of the E60.
If I couldn't get an E60 and had to get another similarly sized car, it'd be the Infiniti M35/45 Sport, Audi A6 or maybe even a Porsche Cayenne S.

I actually would have picked the 750LI, but I'm in my 20's and don't want to look too old in it
