As a second car, sure. As a daily driver, ridiculous. Only balding guys going through a serious mid-life crisis drive an itty-bitty sports car to work every day.

2005 545I Black Saphire Metalic, with Black Dakota Leather, Poplar trim. Sport Package, MTech Body kit and Spoiler, HUD, Comfort Seats, Navigation, Premium sound, CWP, Heated Rear Seats, Window shades. Valentine 1 hardwired, Aux input.
The dealer I do business with has traded 6..... count em 6 911's for 645's this year. Enjoy that ride. By the way, do they come standard with the 8 track.

They're all very different cars. It's like arguing about trading a 5 for an SUV. You may do it for life-style reasons, but no one cross-shops 5s and Explorers. And no one cross-shops 5s and 911s.
