Hey,
I just picked up a white 2006 ML500.? The wife loves it!? Here's a pick!
Also, the best part is that Mercedes integrated the Ipod!

Chrome Grills. M Double Spoke 19" Mixed Wheels 172 with 245/35 front and 275/30 rear (Non-runflat continentals) Spare wheel and jack. Supaglass.
The poor quality of the non-European MBs is well documented but MB have gone completely back to the drawing board with this ML as the benchmark has now been set by the X5. MB are the first to admit that shoddy products over the last 10 years has really dented their reputation (esp. in the US) but are now working to make these cars 110% perfect. I would have bought the new ML myself had it not been for the loss of performance due to the additional weight and mud-plugging abilities, which, as not being a farmer I would hardly utilise

If their quality has been lousy for 10 years, I would recommend to anyone who wants one to wait 3-5 years to see if they actually are able to improve their quality. I'm very skeptical. My neighbor is getting his '04 E500 replaced because they can fix some electrical problems that keep shutting the engine down. That's right, 2004. Why give them the benefit of the doubt-- they absolute s**k when it comes to reliability.

The guys in the US who keep a track of warranty claims have confirmed that since the latest E class, MB have gotten significantly better with quality. This has then followed through with the SL, SLK, CLK, CLS and now hopefully the ML. All the magazines that have these on long term test have said how much better made the cars are nbow, with less cheap plastic. It appears to be the latest BMWs that are believed to be of poorer quality now, starting with the X3, 3 series and now, for us European's, the 1 series. MB seem to have come through their troublesome times - BMW needs to learn from that. It's not looking good for the 2007 X5.

After detailing hundreads of the old style ML's the new one is much better all the way around. I cant believe Mercedes ever let the early model ML's model yr 98's & 99 out to the masses. They where just plain crap... But having said the new one is much better, to me it kinda looks like a KIA Sorrento but hey thats just me...

I'm not too crazie about the new fender craze MB is on right now. I absolutely hate those flairs, even though the look aalright on the new ML! I think it's much better on the interior than the older version of mL. I really love the integrated iPod feature this is something BMW had better include with the next update of all cars eg. software update should be able to fix the current situation of having to make a playlist all the time. All in all, I say nice car there aren't terrible cars just one I wouldn't spend my money on personally!
