SAAB 9_3 Eyebrows

I was on my way home from the gym the other day driving around dusk when I noticed a new Saab 93 aero driving with just his parking lights on, and fog lights, and as I crossed thru the intersection I noticed the Saab had eyebrows very similar to the E60 
is this something new Saab is doing, or have they been doing it for a few years?
I also notice their eyebrow is white and the LED unit on the side looks almost identical to our E60? I wonder if there is any chance of a swap of a sort to convert our eyebrows to white?
