Thanks stoic. Here's the list. Paint was in moderately bad condition. Not much surface contamination but LOTS of swirls and holograms. Had a local friend help me out who essentially did half the car. Still took about 15 or so hours. This detailing stuff is EXPENSIVE and certainly for the younger (i.e. less decrepit than myself
) folk. My back still hurts.

Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo pre-wash with Foam Blaster cannon
CRSpotless
Ridgid 3000 PSI gas operated pressure washer

Clay
Chemical Guys 209g clay bar
Chemical Guys Synthetic Detailer and ONR (mixed to QD strength)
Polish

Flex 3401
Big ol' halogen lamp
Menzerna SIP with an Orange Uber pad
Menzerna Super Finish with Green Uber

2 coats of Menzerna Powerlock on Black Uber

Seriously though, I did take my car to a guy out in Scottsdale before I invested in all the detailing stuff. Did a shabby job at best. If you want it done right....

Now that my friend is a real car. Looks great Ed!! I love it! Can't I borrow it? I know asking to have it is a bit too much. LOL
