WOW!

Great find! Very fresh...

"Its 3.3-second 0-60-mph run and 11.6 at 120.9 mph performance make the GT-R the quickest car we've ever tested. "
"...bring a 3,836-pound GT-R to rest from 60 mph in only 104 feet. That's only 1 foot longer than the Porsche 911 Turbo equipped with the $8,800 ceramic composite brake package." That says it all about the braking power.

And it has LC, and it has a decent prige tag, and I SO MUCH WANT ONEE!
Did you watch the video on the Edmunds link? The tester said with a better road surface they could probably knock off another tenth or two tenths from the already impressive 3.3 sec. This car is great.

Ya, and think of some lightweight driver and a low fuel tank and some slicks and already see it very close to the 3 second margin. WOW
What's going to do the V-spec i dare not think

ya, this car will make history regardless of what Porsche fans say about it. Alot of them try to find ridiculous excuses butin the end you have to think, that even if let's assume the GT-R will be slower than it's main rival by 1 second or so, one has to admit that it's still a fantastic thing for almost half the price. And considering that almost all the tests so far placed the GT-R ahead there is simply no question asked about this car's performance.

Really now i think this car is the best car in the world from the performance/buck perspective.

I saw the GT-R at the DC auto show this weekend. It was on a spinning dais. The car was right-hand drive, the spokesperson explained that only two are in the US for shows like that, and Detroit got the left-hand drive model.

Quoted US price was $71,900 for the uber package. Lower Skylines will start at $39K-ish.

Also mentioned was a 1500 unit build number for the GT-R - that's ridiculously low. Also, a 3.3 second 0-60 time was quoted.
