Look at the Ferrari's V8 specs compared to the V10 in the LFA:
Ferrari F458 - $220,000 4.5-liter V8 570 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 398 pound-feet of torque at 6,000 rpm.
Lexus LFA - $375,000 4.8-liter V10 552 horsepower and 352 pound-feet of torque at 9000 rpm.
Really not overly impressed by the engine specs of the LFA.

Well, Ferrari is notoriously expensive to maintain, so it probably evens out after a few years of ownership, but LFA still looks like a vacuum cleaner - especially, when compared to a beauty like the F458.
The LFA will be very expensive to service/maintenance. A brake job alone will be equal to the cost of a small car.
The cheap Toyota applicance reference does not apply here. These cars will be extremely rare (only 500 examples) and no easy task to take care of. We are talking about an exotic car made of very expensive exotic materials.
Thats why a car like R8 V10 is so great, super car numbers. You can buy the "audi cares" for $600 and you get 4yr/50,000 maintenance/service.

Just like the GTR cost a grip more to maintain than a generic Nissan.

I am not disagreeing with you, except one point: I was talking about the way it looks when I compared it to a vacuum cleaner... and IMHO i was being waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too kind to it. It could've been so much more if they only bothered to actually design the exterior... just one opinion though - I'll keep it, since its mine - not trying to convert anyone, or anyth
