If it drives as well as it looks then its a big consideration for me next year as i am looking to change my e60 then.

While jags are stunning cars ( look at the new XK) They still drive like a Ford. Until Jaguar figures that one out then they will continue to sell to the over 50 crowd.

Sounds like you maybe haven't driven a new XK, the handling is excellent. The only issue with the standard XK is that it's just a little underpowered. It's excellently geared, and the ZF box is set up way better than it is in the E60 (holds gear better and blips on downshift), but it could handle a lot more power. You'll find a lot of positive press coverage on the XK. FWIW, Ford (in Europe at least) really can turn out some excellent product.

Jags are making a come back. The new XK is very good looking, nice firm ride, just needs a little more power. The power upgrade is in the works. As for BMW I think they have gone slightly down hill a little, they are no longer the "ultimate driving machine" and now the "ultimate driving computers". I said slightly; don't get too offended by my comments. I just remember the old days when the cars were so mechanical.
