Can I suggest that both of you stop insulting each other? We are all human beings after all, it doesn't make a difference whether you are under the rule of a socialist or a democratic government or even a dictatorship, because at the end we are all just human beings. The differences between us should be measured by our acts in this world, not by our governments.
People from Hong Kong, you don't have to prove that your country is good, because it is good whether it has twisty roads and/or straights or not. People from Bulgaria, there was no need to point out the types of rule in other countries because it is completely irrelevant to the type of roads they have.
Grow up
(N.B. May I suggest not to mention my country in case you reply to my post?)

I am sure, if some i**** start insulting you / your country / your race, you would've reacted the same way. If you say something that's totally correct with facts rather than bull$hit, no one will call you a moron correct?
When we say we have twisty roads and straight road, we are not implying that Hong Kong is a good country but rather it offers different dimension of driving which brings out the fun comparing with Canada where there are endless straight. I grew up in Canada and there's a sense of belonging in Canada and the same feeling also apply to Hong Kong so are you saying that I am insulting Canada? Of course not, is just an opinion. Some people like to drive only on straight and we are all fine by that.
But saying a G55 will beat a boxster on any road is full of $hit. On straight maybe, but twisted roads, "G55 will have to eat bark" I am sure.

I think some of you guys are missing the point here. The GL looks like it's priced right in middle of its most obvious competition (Navigator/Denali/QX56/Lexus etc) and whatever you think of the styling they are going to sell a shedload of these. There is no clear BMW model that competes (X5 doesn't have the capacity or seating). Clever move, this is clearly aimed directly at the US market and they've priced it right. There will be a lot of buyers for this who can get a Merc for (broadly) similar cost to the equivalent Ford/GM/Toyota models. Take the piss out of the styling or (as is usual here ) the handling all you like - but I strongly suspect MB will have the last laugh with this one.

The new Mercedes GL TV commercials has been out for more than 3 months now. I realize I haven't seen one on the street yet.
