its on an island. And in its heyday it was a british colony (till 7-8 years ago)
Yes it was a british colony but now is better than ever. Stock market is record high and we are happy about the Chinese government, they are doing a great job and the future is looking great.
Also, HK has both big highways and twisty hill roads which give us different dimensions of driving. I lived in Canada for 9 years and I feel that HK is a better place for "fun" driving.
Please do some research before disrespect others.

I agree with bene60, Hong Kong driving is way more fun than say Canada or the States for that matter as there is good long highways and also twisty mountain roads. I can say that because I lived in Canada for 15 years.
So what if Hong Kong was a british colony 7-8 years ago, at least we get something call democracy, which is something you can only dream of living in Bulgaria. At least the British government don't make laws to wipe out the minority, I couldn't say the same thing about Bulgaria.
Try reading this if you don't understand what I mean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulgaria
Then if you don't know anything about Hong Kong try reading this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong
There's no cars / AMG info in it so you might fall asleep after reading a few lines

The current governmental coalition is made of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), National Movement Simeon II (NMS), and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (representing mainly the Turkish minority).

Okay "gentlemen", we have gone a little off topic here and it's all sounding a little ugly. I am not a forum "policeman" so of course do what you like but IMNSHO think you should take your personal socio-political squabbles elsewhere

what are you on about you i****? you live under a communist dictatorship,
Wrong again, Hong Kong was never in anyway under communist rule, as a British colony we follow British laws and after the handover we have something called "one country two system" as in the article about Hong Kong mention, obviously you didn't read any part of that.
we unlike you for the past 17 years have been living in a democracy.
That's what I've been saying, Bulgaria used to be a communist country. You are right the article about Bulgaria mentioned that "Communist domination ended in 1989" so that's 17 years and you are correct.
Partly explains the things you see listed in my sig.
"but economic difficulties and a tide of corruption led over 600,000 Bulgarians, most of them qualified professionals, to emigrate."
hmm... could this be why you have so many nice cars
Partly explains why we are getting admitted to the EU in 2007
Bulgaria is doing something right for the past 17 years so they get admitted, that's reasonable
And besides what do you know? i have been to hong kong , and you im 100% sure have not been to my country
Good for you, and I don't have plans to visit Bulgaria soon. Plus do you need to go to China to find out what has happen at Tienmen Square?
And we unlike you have a great record for civil and human rights... you want to talk about civil rights, then go read this

That's an event we will never forget and the Chinese government is working hard to change things around. I am sure there are more bogus things going on in some other communist countries but they never receive the media attention.
and also think about your governements attitude towards Taiwan.
Did you think about Taiwan's attitude towards China, they never admit they are Chinese, they label themselves as Taiwanese. Where as I tell people I am Chinese, I am from Hong Kong that's all.

Right GL class. It's a merc...and that's all.
Don't wana mix in this at all: but i feel the word real democracy and easter europe countries don't mix very well. Romania and Bulgaria yes, have smth called democracy but it ain't so much of a democracy. We need EU to have a superior "authority" like a police man to watch over us. But to say Romania or BUlgaria have had 17 years of real democracy is just too much...even though i say it with sorrow. Cheers!

Can I suggest that both of you stop insulting each other? We are all human beings after all, it doesn't make a difference whether you are under the rule of a socialist or a democratic government or even a dictatorship, because at the end we are all just human beings. The differences between us should be measured by our acts in this world, not by our governments.
People from Hong Kong, you don't have to prove that your country is good, because it is good whether it has twisty roads and/or straights or not. People from Bulgaria, there was no need to point out the types of rule in other countries because it is completely irrelevant to the type of roads they have.
Grow up
(N.B. May I suggest not to mention my country in case you reply to my post?)
