I know i'd get my ass handed to me...but I had not idea the e55 is that big a monster!!

You should race with E500 and not E55. You will kick the arse of E500, believe me!

Road and Track's March 2005 Road Test Summary list the E55 AMG 0-60 mph at 4.2 ; 0-100 in 9.4 with 1/4 mile in 12.4 sec.
The E500 0-60 of 5.9; 0-100 in 14.7 and 1/4 mile in 14.4
R&T does not list the 545i times, but lists the 530i auto at 0-60 in 7.2; 0-100 in 19.2 and the 1/4 mile in 15.5.
The 645i listed at 0-60 in 5.3; 0-100 in 12.8 and 1/4 in 13.7. I have seen the 545i listed in another mag at 0-60 in 5.7 seconds but don't remember the other times or the transmission tested.

Well this all depends on the type of a race... if its from stop to go then don't mess with him.. I tried it in my 525i lol and got spanked but i jsut wanted to fool with him... Now on the other hand I did race a SL55 AMG in a 745Li and I did end up beating him out and the 7 is alot heavier then the 5.. but this was at speeds of 120 and higher... if this is a highway race anythings game its really whos the better driver but from the line and auto trannies theres jsut no way to mess up so game over for you...E55 AMG all the power with no brakes to stop it and not steering to turn it... Its to bad for that much money I would hope they would atleast give you those things!!! I really hope they get their brakes updated since the new E65 AMG is comin out or else those things are gonna be in shops for new breaks within a year
