What I would like to know is what the sales rep said to you afterwards. I mean, this is pretty embarassing for them to have their flagship model do this to a potential customer.

My Ride: Collected Sept 2009 - BMW E90 M3, Silverstone II, Novillo Black leather, 19" M Double-Spoke alloys, High Beam Assist, Electronic Damper Control, Voice Control, PDC, USB, DAB, High Gloss Shadowline, Sliding armrest, Trim Finishing in aluminium grey.
Is is an S500 or S550?
Maybe it was their air-bag (or is it wind-bag salesman) demo ?
I've never been in a car with an air-bay deployment. Did u get a fright?
And was it loud and were u covered in powder?

Did the sales in MB dealer gave you the look. WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE WITH THE CAR??

All of the stupid air bags deployed, front, side (or window) and even the rear airbags deployed (no one was in the backseat, btw).
Salesman tried to pass it off by saying it must have been the new MB "PRE-SAFE" system -- you know, the one that is supposed to anticipate a possible collision before it occurs?
When we finally squeezed out of the car, salesman (sheepishly) asked if I wanted a test-drive. WTF?? If sitting in the car, not moving, causes this type of mishap -- what's going to happen when I actually engage "D"?
Suffice to say, I kindly turned him down and drove away in my BMW ...
