The GTR would be a full second quicker to 60 and I don't see the M3 doing much either. If we're going performance, the GTR would beat the M5, hands down. I think the N'Ring time would speak plenty. But the M5 has got to be heavier and of course, a sedan, so what would you expect?

If you ever race a GTR, just know that his engine is different than other GTRs, which is great, but if it messes up, guess who pays in the thousands to get just one part which was made specifically for that particular GTR. Plus, only guys my age (19) or around it (25 max.) really coo over those kind of cars. After a while, you either start dreaming and wishing you owned one, or you're out looking for one because you can afford one and that's when reality sets in. GTRs really aren't worth it. It isn't an everyday driver, no matter what people will tell you. There would be no reason to go 0-60 in 3 seconds everyday to work.

What chances does an M5 have against a GTR?
Both are stupid fast, the GTR just more so

The average person can't get anywhere near the full capability of either car ... and forget using even half the potential if you don't have regular access to a race track.
