What do you think about the new GS450h? It sounds like it will be as fast as the 545i in the 0-60 mph, a little better on the gas mileage (not much), and more friendly toward the environment. I'm not sure about after 60 mph. Does anyone know if there are tests by any car mags yet? See the link below for a review.

By the end of its life-span it won't be cleaner then the 545i. The energy used recycling batteries and decomposing them, creates far more pollution then that of a standard car.

Plus Lexus/Toyota doesn't employ the energy saving/environment saving construction techniques that BMW uses (water based paints, high number of recyclable parts, etc...).

It will be fast in a straight line. But so will Mercedes AMG. Neither will be able to holdonto a 545/550i in the twisties.
