What an awseome car nothing beats a P-Car man. Ok well maybe Ferrari. but as for not going into the supercar brand a P-Car is the best.

Really wasnt much of an intro. They just invited some people to see the new turbo and to have some food. Very good food too! hehe nice huge scallops, huge shrimps, steak kabobs, chicken kabobs, dessert... not bad. I've been to other intros but Porsche is still the best. Guess you get what you pay for.

Here are some quick pics. Didnt take many.

I really don't get it. What do you mean by not going to supercar brand?! For me a Porsche as a brand is almost as good as a Ferrari. Of course Ferrari will always have 1,5 milion cars that no porsche can match nor at performance and not at price also.
The Carrera GT is the best example here. This car can pretty much take on almost any Ferrari (except the very high end ones like i said before).
The 911 turbo is a great pice of machine. In steptronic mode it's even faster than the GT to 100km/h and who know what happens after that. The GT3/RS domain will always have a battle to fight with ferrari f430/CS

Well like you said, for you. In my eyes Porsche is still closer to a "normal" car... border lining to supercar but is not a supercar brand completly. For a car brand to have cars starting at under $50K I cant call them a Supercar brand completly. Find me a Ferrari at under $50K and I'll probably buy it. Yes they have the CGT but still... Ferrari has a longer line of more "super cars" Even the entry Ferrari is faster than most Porsches... I didnt say all.. I said most. So thats why I still dont think of Porsche as a supercar brand.

Like Merc. they have the SLR thats a rocket. the SL 65 basically a rocket fast car. Would you call them a supercar brand?

Nice. That porsche body (911) has been around for over 40 years, right? I really lik the 996 lights over the 997 since the 997 headlights look like 1970's.

EBMSC03, thanks for the pics! The new 997 turbo is simply gorgeous!

Are you thinking of trading in your E60 for that beast?
