I just took 6 laps in one of these today. What a rush! My top speed was only around 140 MPH, but this thing could have done much more! The acceleration and handling are just incredible.

It wasn't cheap (about $400), but I highly recommend it. The've got real NASCAR cars as well.

Cool!

Was it on the infield road course or the oval?

Cool. I've done the Richard Petty experience at Lowes Motor Speedway. Open wheel would be a totally different feeling.
It was an experience to do 140 on the big oval but way too short for the money IMHO, 8 laps, 40 seconds each, less than 10 minutes from climbing in the car to getting out, for $400. I can do all weekend on track with my own car or a full day of driving at the BMW PC (non ///M cars) for the same amount.

It was the oval track. Each lap was 1.5 miles.

I agree, it was a lot of money for 6 laps. However, since I've always wanted to drive an Indy car, it was worth it for me. I have to say it was a strange feeling driving home in the E60 after driving an Indy car...
