Just spotted this in Auto Express - Had to look twice as I first thought the side view was an E60.

The reverse rake on the E60 rear window quarter panel still sets it apart, IMO.

Your typical non-e60 forums person:

[Walks out of the mall]
"Where did I park my car? Oh, here it is!"

[Approaches driver side of the car]
"Why isn't my remote unlocking the door?"

[Tries to use the remote to open the trunk]
"What the hell is going on here?!!"

[Shaking head in disgust]
"Damn, I hate this iDrive bullshit!"

Come on, Lexus is a car with no spark, everything tends to be so perfect almost like an Audi but on the end are so boring.

Once again, the Japanese auto designers try to emulate the Germans.? Remember the Lexus that looked just like the Mercedes S class?

I wish Ford and GM could emulate something decent. I can't think of a single Ford/GM car I like except for the Corvette. I'd just like for them to be somewhat competitive.

Hmm, I can think of a couple ...

I sort of like the Cadillac STS-V.

And the new Solstice should be sweet.

Yeah, those are cool. I like the new experimental STS with a supercharged LS2 engine making 505hp and 520 lbs/ft of torque. Now that would be an interesting car. There is also a new Impala with a small block V8 making 303 hp. GM was never bad with engines though, it's the rest of the car that's so so... Who wouldn't want an H1?

I think the new Ford Mustang is pretty decent. It's supposed to be quite good. The Escape hybrid is a neat little SUV as well.

I agree on the Solstice, but I was talking about extant cars (or is the Solstice out now?). Actually, I like the sports-car Caddy. Can't remember its model #--the $70,000 car. The Mustang isn't too bad.

Solstice is out - dealers have them on the lot (going for a test drive this weekend ).

The sports-car Caddy I think you are talking about is the XLR?
