E60 gets a new brother!!!
Well, I couldn't help myself and pulled the trigger on a low mile 2006 997. This tandem is my version of driving nirvana. Just addicted to German machines.
While the cars are much different in feel, they complement each very nicely. The 550 still feels quick and, while its for sale, its gonna be tough to let go. I love the E60. Any thoughts?
The V8 is just so smooth after blasting around in the 997. For the first time, I can see lowering the 550 a bit and firming the suspension up. We miss I-drive alot when driving the 997, more than I thought. I never quite got the negative fuss over I-drive.
The Porsche is simply awesome and has tons of grip. Its well built and I really like the seating position/interior of the car. Best steering I've ever experienced. I’ll need to track to enjoy fully.
Very happy!!

I had a Dinan super charged Mcoupe as a daily driver. I could not get used to having a small car like as my daily car. It was more a weekend or "fun" car. My 545i bought years ago seemed to split the difference.
If you can, I would keep them both.
