My Ride: 525d M Sport in Carbon Black
It's been a number of years since AR were represened in the states... I'm a life long fan and living in Scotland i get the pleasure of their triumphs and disasters, of late though they have come through with some new designs.... I'm sure their will be lots of opinions.... my main question is would you buy an Alfa Romeo ?
Below are a few images of whats coming your way in America 2008...
Competizione Spider
Alfa 169 (Based on Masaratti Quatroporte Platform )
Alfa 159 (3 Series Level)
Alfa 149 (VW Golf Sized)
Note: The 169 should have rid it's self of first run glitches by the time my e60 is due for change in 3 yrs or so.... I know for sure i'm gonna be tempted.

Tjhere has always been an Alfa in my garage since the day I got my drivers licence in 1984. Currently it's a GTV6 GP 1987, and after owning it for 12 years I sure won't let it go.
Would I buy a 159 today? Nope. beautiful but so far away in engineering from ze German Trio. But a well engineered 169... mmm...

To each his own, but I don't find the 159 attractive in any way. The 8C is fine, the 169 is pretty. Americans don't like hatchbacks, and don't think of Alfa's if tey do like them. So the 149 will be a flop.
Are they all definitely coming our way? Isn't the Spyder heavy, also? If it doesn't compete with GM's entries in performance, it won't sell on the Alfa name in the states.
