I apologize for "ruffling" anyone's feathers!

Bottom line: 545i #1, 300c hock, poo! Remember the Iron Sheik of WWF?

It's not Chrysler. It's these kind of discussions leading nowhere. Lexus, Infinity, Acura... I don't give a f*ck! We all here have an E60 or are waiting for one, or/and just love the car. So everybody looking in this forum to get infos, because he wants to buy a new car, knows that everybody here will say the E60 is the one he should buy. And everybody else allready has one, so doesn't need any discussions like this.
This is a waste of time... and bandwith!
If anybody is interested in anything else than the E60 he will find great forums out there somewhere.
Let's keep the focus on the E60. This is E60.net.

To me, if i couldn't afford the 545i i would go with the 300c simply because i need a sedan.

But the 300c is kinda ghetto and yes the reliability is questionable, maybe i'd go for a new M45 instead.

I'm not clear what you mean by "Ghetto". The definition is "a poor densely populated city district occupied by a minority ethnic group linked together by economic hardship and social restrictions". What that has to do with this car I'm not sure. I would not compare the 300C to a BMW 5 series anymore than I would compare it to the new Mustang. That being said the 300C is selling well for Chrysler and I'm happy for them. The auto market is large enough for many segments.

No offense, It has the ghetto rep, and it's been shown in numerous rap videos which i watch myself on BET* but then again there are also Bentley Continental GT's shown in these videos also.

I feel comparisons such as these make for a good discussion and read, thus I have always enjoyed them. They highlight pros and cons of different cars which I may not have been aware of. Each of us may favor BMW, but we are all auto enthusiasts, well at least most of us.....

Recent threads have become much more controversial and agitated. Remember this should not become personal. If you don't like the thread you can always choose not to participate and go to another thread.
I agree with heezy545i, we are all enthusiasts and should be supportive of other members.

Where does it stop, next you won't want a comparison to the E500, then you won't like comparisons to other BMW series and finally we will become a bunch of bickering bitches like those on RF.

I love my E60. But comparisons like these only help my general knowledge and make me a more educated owner. Frankly there is only so much I can help people pair their BT phones. The intelligent posts (like this one started by Pennetta) just die quickly. If I don't care for the content of a post I don't read it.

I'm sorry. Everytime I see a Chrysler 300, the only thing I can think of is that it looks like the Jokermobile.
