I really miss my Jaguar for a number of reasons, Looks, Speed, Best Nav I ever used and its rock solid stability at all speeds, granted its noiser, not built as good etc

Had my 530 in for 007 ejecting cupholders & lost equalization of right speakers after last flash and they gave me a Jag loaner.
For 2 days felt dead to the world... mushy steering, soft ride, no acceleration (soft shifts auto). Stable wasn't the word I would have used - "nonresposive" fits. Felt like a Buick Park Avenue or maybe a dressed up Taurus.

It surprises me even more that it is not mentioned in the manual - maybe in the 05 manual?

I've heard there is no difference between the 05 and 04 manual.. But maybe I am wrong and just heard of someone with an 05 that he GOT an 04 manual..

[/quote]Its not in the manual because they changed it. It was in the manual with a different feature set. See post 31

2004 R type I'm no pyschiatrist but even your name on this forum has to do with Jaguar. To get to the point, you are right - you will NEVER be satisfied with this car and probably not with any BMW. Unload it any way you can and we'll all be happy . My .02 .

I think most of his problems are adressed in this thread and solved. The other things can be solved by his dealer.
Every new car has problems and from experience I now all my new cars where a lot at the dealership in the first year to take care of them. Once everything is settled he'll be happy like we all are..
