And i also stop most of the time but after the race to have a quick chat. When it's hotter outside i even stay for like almost hours with some enthusiasts (chicks too man
) to chat in some nights.Race somewhere without traffic? If you were not talking about drag racing, that's kinda hard to find. To do a good sprint from one location to another but without traffic, cops, junctions, pedestrains and good quality tarmac is almost impossible to find unless you've got a racetrack which we don't. And for some including me, racing in traffic is somehow the essence since that's simply a different game. On a racetrack you concentrate or aim to drive as fast as you can by hiting the apexes just right, by braking as late as possible or by getting on the throttle as fast as possible. In city racing, that's different. Suddenly all those factors become secondary, and the primary factors are: not to get over the line, not to simply take out the other cars in traffic, respect the red lights, watch out for the idiotic pedestrians that cross the road through unmarked areas and so on... plus to be quick which imo is far more of a challange. But as i said if you keep it clean and don't push it too much it's not a problem. Also i should mention this is not like every day, it's more like 6-10 times per year.
That's simply because there are very few that venture in this kind of fun. Some love more drag racing, i find it a bit boring...since all you do is watch you launch and then the rest is simple assuming one knows the basics of shifting gears and going in a staight line

About the 2nd paragraph i didn't mean to use idiotic term only by refering to the crossing the streets through unmarked areas, i meant people that don't pay attention when they do it, when they run and so on...all the stuff that confuses a driver let alone in a spirited drive. Don't get me wrong i also drive 95% fo the time very quietly and as legal as possible, but when conditions are met then i do enjoy a good race in that 5%, race also (it's important to understand) within limits. I understood that lesson on my own skin and of course i don't risk that much anymore, neither myself, the car, or other participants in traffic.
About the trip, although it's very far away i would love to go at least once in UK with my car, just for the fun of it. I just love to tick another country at the wheel. If this ever acomplishes i will for sure give you a heads-up. Would love to honour that invitation
