But it isn't. And that's the point. Time to take off the blinkers - it's actually a pretty good car, irrespective of the badge on the hood. It's not just "good for a Hyundai", it's a pretty good car full stop.
The Genesis follows the same line, the styling is SO close to Merc and our beloved E60's that it is the perfect car for you if you wear a Rolecks, and insist on Armini suits.

If anyone really believes the Genesis to be comparable to our E60's or an MB E-Class please feel free to trade yours and post pics, until then you are posing. If you want one - go get one. I can see Hyundai EVENTUALLY being on par with Honda/Toyota/Nissan , but BMW/MB/Audi? Um, no, sorry

No one is saying it is comparable. It isn't. Some of us are saying it is an impressive car in its own right and that the old prejudices ought to be cast aside.
And frankly, when brand posturing comes from someone who has one the of the oldest and cheapest E60's it's possible to own, it does ring a bit hollow...
