Compared to the other two cars in the category, the Genesis seems like the right choice.
Even the company is not known as a luxury brand, Hyundai has been making luxury vehicles
overseas for quite some time now. What they should have done was come up with a new
luxury division for the U.S. market like Honda and Toyota did.

Don't get me wrong, I would never trade in my 535i for a Genesis....but compared to the
new Ford and the redesigned VW, Hyundai has made a huge leap.

I cant believe this..........

Vauxhall ( GM ) are claiming the Insignia is the car of the year ( even tho it wasn't released until the last few days )

Also I dont know if you noticed, but I often see Fiats with Car of the Year stickers on them, old Fiats at that !!!!!

Maybe there is a way of doing it which doesn't actually mean anything, car of the year as voted for by "Blind poor people" catergory etc ??

This particular award was for the North American Car of the Year...

The Insignia was European Car of the Year.

X your sick

I think it is a good pick. You have to admit Hyundai has come a long way and are making significant strides since the days of the Elantra... The company has put together a strong business plan and have really turned themselves around in the last 10 years.

Don't forget their latest financing offer where they will let you turn your car back in with no penalty if you lose your job in the 1st year. That really is a way to play team ball!
