Get the Bimmer if you want maximum performance with luxury and good reliability
. Get the Benz if you prefer luxury and status and get a Lexus if you prefer max. luxury and reliability with little performance. BMW for me.

i test drove the cls500 yesterday. interior is nice. i personally think it's nicer than e60. sport pkg looks pretty good, with 18" amg rims and amg exhausts. overall the car looks pretty good. not stunning, though
. the sales advisor told me i'm the first one to test drive the car. well, who cares
. the steering is very light. more power than my 530. but believe it or not, i still like my 530 better
. the rear seats are ridiculous
. almost no headroom
. base price is quite reasonable, $64,900. but with some options, you are looking at $10k more :'(. overall, bmw is still the ultimate driving machine
.

I got to test drive the CLS 4 months ago...and it actually is a very competent car. It's pretty tight around cones and brakes like hell! If price doesn't matter, you can't go wrong getting one. It's just a matter of preference...I'd be willing to live with one despite the recent decline of Merc's quality and customer satisfaction.
