If you could do it all over again would you still choose the 545i?

GS has a new model starting from the middle of the year. Among all those cars, my choice is still 545i.

545i - Hell yes
GS 430 -Boring to drive.
M45 - Funner to drive, oversteer. Technology. But STILL doesn't have the BMW feel.
E500 - Benzes bore me.
CTS-v - Very nice looking sedan. Interior sucks I heard.

545i definately. No doubt (although the new A6 is some competition)

I've had my 545 for just over a month now. I went to the car show last weekend to see the new A6 which I hadn't yet sat in. I've seen other posts praising its interior design. But perhaps just as an over-hyped movie, I was not particularly impressed with the A6 interior. It didn't feel innovative or fresh to me. In fact, just the opposite. I felt it was NOT innovative, especially in a newly-redesigned car, and I came to respect the interior of my 545 much more. I think the consistency of interior design is more apparent in the 545. And i-drive makes the interior much more "clean". BTW, I think the new Acura RL interior is okay, but again didn't stand out to me. I haven't had a chance to drive either of these new cars yet, but I expect they'll compare even worse on the road.

I had an E500, and it can't hold a candle to the 545i. Plus, it was the biggest problem car I've ever had in my life. Forget that one! Cadillac? Never, never never! I'm sorry, but image counts for me- I don't care HOW good the damn thing is (and it's not that good, by the way). Cadillacs are like a rat with a gold tooth. I'd be embarrased to own one. The Infinity M45 is the only one of the group I'd even consider besides the 545i, and there's no doubt in my mind that the 545i is definitely the better machine. Nope, the 545i just rules. Especially with Sport Package- the overall handling is just amazing. The active roll stabilization is a modern miracle, and nobody can touch BMW's combination of class, handling, smoothness, image and resale. Nobody.
