I just recollected quad_m... What was concluded finally on quad_m? Did he ever returned money for the guys who didn't get the Mkits?
I am glad I got mine before it happened.

nope, never heard of him ever again. He just vanished into thin air.
I recall someone was very close on catching him (name will stay anonymous) but no one was helping out or supporting his search. The cops also dis-regarded his clues and search as they said this kind of theft is very small in comparison to what cases the cops had (The member is an internet cop or something of that sort)

Yikes... I thought many ppl on this forum met him personally and got it installed at quad_m's place too.
so ppl just lost $1000's simply ?? I am sure he got some $60K+ from a group buy on this form ... and he got several orders from ebay too it seems. It shows how one can become so greedy w/ that much money in hand lol..

Almost bought my M-Tech with him when he was popular on this site.
My wife gave me a nod to buy my M-Tech, so called quad-m to get a quote, he gave me a very good price over the phone. I actually spoke to him at least 3x.
Told my wife about the "good price" but my wife told me to just buy it straight from BMW (thanks for the 25% hookup from this forum). Had it shipped directly to me and got a local shop painted and installed it for me.
