So was this ever resolved? Did the OP get his money back?

Nope, nothing. Thanks for your earlier response and recommendations. I tried contacting him through several mediums and nada. Would I still have a case even though this was a private (and what I would guess a technically "as-is") transaction? The seller did represent the item fraudulently, but I did overlook the camber wear when I bought them in person. Would there be any costs if I file anything with the local authorities or will it be worth my time?

Thankssssss!

I'm pretty sure that law enforcement would not waste their time on this matter....They will most likely tell you its a small claims court matter!Hopefully the guy will refund you your money! Thats just plain shaddy!

If you had an opportunity to physically inspect the tires prior to buying them you might not have a case because you could not have reasonably relied on the seller's misrepresenations. There is no charge for filing a complaint with you police department. You could also sue in Small Claims Court.

By the screen name, it indicates 818, so Mr. Kledjian must be from Glendale, North Hollywood, SFV area.

Anybody seen this car and get some plates? ..

Haha nice research Melvin! I should just sit in front of his house one day and wait for him. Maybe we could have a mini meet there? I'll send out his address .

It doesn't look good for me, never took anything to small claims court but it looks like it would be a waste of time since he could claim I was able to inspect the tires upon purchasing them. I'm an idiot... lesson learned ughhhhh!

Thanks SDG for all of your guidance and helping me out (I saw your post in the actual sale thread also). Wish I had some contacts with the local authorities but I don't and doubt they would care about a $160 transaction. I recently learned that this seller might be part of a much bigger fraud charge but I don't know too many details about that.

After reading all the facts, the chance to win doesn't seem to be in your favor. It's a tough lesson to learn. Sorry dude.
