It's been said before, call the guy and get more information. And if anyone is local, you can do the community a great service by checking out this guy's business. He is offering to paint and ship before getting paid? How many people do that? Again, assuming it is legit, that's not a bad deal. Don't get me wrong, Quad_M has left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. He is a scammer, pure and simple. And I am sorry for all of you that have had to endure all you are going through. I hope everything gets resolved to everyone's liking soon. But this guy is asking you to call or stop by so he can validate himself. I would be cautious and wary but maybe someone should check him out before bashing him repeatedly. You guys are not bringing anything new to the table by doing this. The witch hunt is for Tony, not all business people operate the same way. Innoceant until proven guilty right? Someone check this guy out. If you still think something is fishy, then we can go from there. Just my .02 cents.

Based on his earlier post, I'm thinking one of the sites is
http://www.eckhardtperformance.com

Even though the site looks under construction, it's domain registration is based in Hollywood Florida (and was registered in May of 2008...)

I can't find "clonespecialists" to be affiliated to this website...

i'm willing to give clonespecialists a chance. i purchased a full m-tech kit from tony back in march '08. i finally called it quits on july 31 and requested a chargeback from my CC company (AMEX is the fuckin shit). i hope the other members here who've placed orders with tony can get their money back as well.

as for clone, your announcement into e60.net couldn't have come at a worst time. and unfortunately, you are undeservingly feeling the heat from members who have been burned by tony.

one thing however before i place an order with u clone. i'm going to need a definite delivery schedule for my kit. i've already received a price quote from another vendor here (Eurorev) and his ETA to getting the kit on my front doorstep is only 2 weeks. let us members know what your delivery time is looking like and that might help ease some of the concerns and doubts here.

How about we stop the "I pay you, you go and buy the kit, paint the kit and deliver it to me" business model?
And start "You have the kit in stock, I pay you a deposit, you paint the kit, deliver it to me and I'll pay the rest on delivery" business model?
And if the kit is not delivered on time I get the deposit back?
If you can do that, I will buy consider buying from you.

Tired of waiting 2,3,4 or more months for your technic kit? Wait no longer. I am the person who has been turning out these beautifully painted kits for Tony aka Quad-m aka Victor (the name known to me) for the past eight months. Now I'd like credit where credit is due. Doing work for this individual proved to be something of a backward arrangement. It seemed as though I was given kits to paint for those of who had been waiting months already. In reading your forums I can understand the frustration and it seems as though I was used as the scape goat for late shipments, even going as far to blame it on family illness at body shop. None of which was true. I have since severed my ties with this person. I can offer offer M5 technic kits and all BMW accessories painted by me. I will provide you with my body shop name, my name (not a ficticious one) and my phone number (not a cell that will be disconnected soon). You can purchase the M Technic Kit for $2300.00 plus shipping and receive it in a timely!!!! fashion. Please feel free to call, I've been in this location for 25 years and am not going anywhere and have nothing to hide!. I have a great reputation in this business, have painted cars for movie sets, and am a well known painter of BMW's, lamborghini's, bentley's, ferrari's, etc. Even though many of you have had a bad taste in your mouth, we all have been screwed. Please just give me the opportunity to quote you on any of your BMW needs and know they will be professionally painted to match your car. Just provide me with your paint code, vin # and year, make and model.

How can we do business with you when our funds are tied up with Quad-M?? As of today I can guess that Quad_M has over $20k in individuals money.. On another note, you joined this forum on Jul 20th and for damn sure you seen the threads going around Quad_M.. why didn't you call him out on his bullshit a few weeks ago?

I personally don't doubt that you have a legit shop, it's the unforutate side that you were partnered with Quad_M..

Good luck

heavy_g, how about one better- "you have the kit in stock, i pay you NO deposit, you paint the kit, deliver it to me, and I'll pay for it all within 15 days of delivery" business model

that's what this vendor clonespecialists is proposing anyways. hopefully his delivery timetable is quick. for $2300 painted and shipped, it's something i'm willing to try.
